Two of my relatives are mentioned in the book Tapestry, Joseph Skratt and Anne Skratt (they would be an uncle and an aunt on my Father’s side) and my brothers and I would very much like to know if there are any copies of the book available for purchase, and if so, where we could purchase them. Obviously, none of us ever met Uncle Joe as he was killed during WW I, but we all have fond memories of Aunt Anne. It is a piece of our history that we never knew existed, and so would very much like to have a copy of the book if possible. Thank you for your any help you may be able to give us. Thank you so much for your note here. I would be honored to give you a book. Your Aunt Anne was a dear, dear friend of my grandmother’s (Helen Peters Scully). She was family. Joseph Skratt was my grandmother’s fiancĂ©, but died in the war. My grandmother loved him very much ( my mother tells me). Obviously, though, if Joe Skratt had lived, I would never be, and the book Tapestry — which brings us together now– would never have existed. I will call you, so perhaps we can talk, and I can get your address to send the book. Thank you again for your note. I am so excited to make this connection.
All the Best
